Attendance Policy

Consistent attendance is essential for steady progress. While we are committed to helping your child succeed, we request your assistance to ensure regular attendance.

Cancellation notices. All cancellation notices should be emailed to admin@LJLearningWorks.com or relayed via phone at (858) 456-4569.

Cancellation.  We require 24-hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of private sessions.  In order to respect our instructors’ time, you will be responsible for the full session fee for cancellations made with less than 24-hours notice.  For weekend sessions, cancellations must be made by 10:00am Friday.

Sick Cancellations.  We understand that life has unexpected circumstances.  In the event of unforeseen illness, we will reduce the session fee to a $35 “Sick Cancellation Fee” for cancellations. For appointments before 1:00pm, notice must be received by 4:00pm on the previous day. For appointments after 1:00pm, notice must be received prior to 10:00am on the day of a session scheduled on Monday-Friday. For Saturday or Sunday sessions, notice must be received by 4:00pm Friday for sick cancellations.

Assessment Cancellations.  We require 48-hours notice for assessment cancellations.  In order to cover our administrative time in preparing assessment materials, you will be responsible for paying a cancellation fee of 10% of the assessment costs for cancellations that are made with less than 48-hours notice.  If your assessment is scheduled for the weekend, please make sure to contact the office to notify of a cancellation by 10:00am Thursday morning.
